From an event to a trip
Finding something worth travelling for is only the beginning. GrooveScanner brings the next decisions—where to fly from, how to get there, and where to stay—into one event-led workflow.
The original search screen accepts an event and a nearby airport. Its results pair flight options with accommodation, show a combined cost, and open a detailed proposal alongside information about the event.
How it was built
The frontend uses AngularJS, CoffeeScript, and Foundation. A Python/Flask API connects event search, airport information, flights, and hotels. This was a web application, not just a static promotional page.
About this restoration
The interactive exhibit retains the original page templates, styling, and project artwork, with small accessibility and mobile adjustments. The controller and service layer have been adapted for bundled, fictional examples. No historical credentials, live travel APIs, location requests, or booking links are used. The illustrative prices are not travel quotes.
The original Python backend is not running in this exhibit. Its historical integrations would need separate modernization before live use.
