Coordinating practical help
Built during HackYeah 2020 Online, this prototype connects pickup requests with people who can help. Its mobile list and map experience is supported by request and claim tracking, geocoded addresses, and voice notes.
The descriptive title on this page identifies the purpose of the project; it is not a newly invented historical product name.
More than a frontend
The repository documents a Flask API, Celery workers, database services, and database migrations. Its Docker workflow starts these pieces together. Reviving the original project therefore involves more than putting an HTML file on a static host.
Demonstration boundaries
The walkthrough summarizes the documented request-to-helper flow. A future recording or restored client must use fictional names, addresses, and requests. It should show how a request is claimed without accepting real assistance requests or implying that volunteers are currently monitoring the system.
